Job Summary:

Ensures safety and processes to achieve world class reliability performance

Responsibilities:

• Champions a safe work environment. Oversees and coordinates daily production support activities to deliver on business unit objectives.
• Coordinates with Operations Leadership, Engineering, and planner to ensure safe, predictable manufacturing processes to achieve world class reliability performance.
• Ensures compliance with all OSHA and corporate policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Helps manage the development of the Operations Support Personnel. Periodically executes process improvement projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills Requirements:

• 3-5 years of work-related experience required. Previous Maintenance Supervisory experience. Leadership skills in teambuilding, execution, customer focus, communication, and organization. Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry. Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable company’s business goals and objectives with ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets. Strong financial and analytical ability. Proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint. Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes. Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous productivity and cost reduction programs. Strong and convincing communication skills. Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products and e-mail skills required. 

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree, First Degree, Trade/Vocational School certificate or Equivalent required. Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Technology, Industrial Engineering or related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Frequently required to stand, reach, bend, sit and/or walk during scheduled shift. Occasionally exert up to 35 lbs. of force to push, pull, lift or otherwise move objects. Must have manual dexterity and visual acuity to safely use necessary tools/equipment. Must have visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and/or to view a computer terminal. Consistent attendance is an essential function of the job.
