Job Summary:

Directs and leads the overall function of technology, information systems.

Responsibilities:

• Helps define corporate direction, providing guidance and direction on where technology can facilitate business.
•  Drives commonality of working practices across the entire organization.
•  Supports, defines and determines strategic business solutions.
•  Provides and ensures value- add service to business.
• Ensures focus on continued business improvement.
•  Interfaces with senior management and co-develop strategic Business Objectives
•  Pursues, implements and enhances Best Practice to drive operational excellence in area of responsibility.
•  Ensures processes/people are in place to support all technology/business systems. 
• Identifies creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value added processes, or complete re- engineering of processes and systems).
•  Establishes new measurement systems if/where possible.
•  Exchanges knowledge and information with other iQor facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the iQor organization.
• Ensures 100% adherence to all company policies and procedures.
•  Maintains discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to data and proprietary information, whether internal to iQor or customer specific.
• Interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
•  Works effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
•  Be proficient and knowledgeable in all areas related to the IT department functions.
• Maintains discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to the IT systems.
•  Ensures all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills Requirements:

• 6-8 years of experience in a relevant iQor IT position OR equivalent external work experience, including 5 or more years of experience in a supervisory or management role within an Information Systems department.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree, First Degree, Trade/Vocational School certificate or Equivalent required. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or computer related discipline required. 

Physical Requirements:

Occasionally exert up to 10 lbs. of force to push, pull, lift or otherwise move objects. Have visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data; and/or viewing a computer terminal. Type and/or sit for extended periods of time.
